Workability

Supporting people with a physical disability, sensory impairment and/or acquired brain injury to find paid jobs.

“They told me I wouldn’t walk again. But Heather had faith in me: that I would not only walk again, but work again.”

Of utmost importance for many of our clients is to have structure to their week, connections to others and to have a purpose in life – as a result, money is often not the priority. Many tell us Workability is the first place where they have felt valued and made to feel they can contribute to their families and communities.

Recent research showed that over 90% of people supported into work through Workability are still in employment 2 years later.

Workability provides one-to-one support, with practical help and guidance to help people to achieve their goals. We link with employers and other support services to ensure people get high quality and support appropriate to them
